My Nintendo DS Lite (polar white) has a tiny patch of light that shines through the white case directly under the lower left of the touch screen. It depends if you travel a lot. If you think you need something to keep you ';unbored'; somewhere away from home, get the DS, plus you'll have extra money for music to take with you too. If you think you'll do most of your gaming at home, get the wii.
Also, if your sister is younger than you, actually, no matter what age, the wii will be more enjoyable. It's more ';party-type'; and Wii sports is fun to play with another person. But keep in mind you would need to pay extra for the extra Wii controller.
You can't really play with another person you know on the ds unless they have one. Both systems have wifi enabled for free online multiplayer, though there aren't many for the wii.
The Wii also has the ';Virtual Console';, where you can download classic nes and old-skool games for a small price each.

It depends if you travel a lot. If you think you need something to keep you ';unbored'; somewhere away from home, get the DS, plus you'll have extra money for music to take with you too. If you think you'll do most of your gaming at home, get the wii.
Also, if your sister is younger than you, actually, no matter what age, the wii will be more enjoyable. It's more ';party-type'; and Wii sports is fun to play with another person. But keep in mind you would need to pay extra for the extra Wii controller.
You can't really play with another person you know on the ds unless they have one. Both systems have wifi enabled for free online multiplayer, though there aren't many for the wii.
The Wii also has the ';Virtual Console';, where you can download classic nes and old-skool games for a small price each.

I'm looking for a Hard case for my Nintendo DS Lite. It has to be very tough go when dropped my Nintendo DS Lite doesn't get any harm, it has to fit the DS Lite not orignal, it has to have parts cut out so i can play the ds while the case is on. With the DSi just around the corner, and the fact that someone could probably buy a DS and 7 games NEW for 250... good luck. You'll probably be lucky to get 150 for it. 125, maybe. Yeah, it's the price of a DS new, but regardless of the games, yours is used. Might depend on the games, too. Why no DS case for Guitar Hero On Tour?
What I'm trying to ask is a simple question, and I don't know why, because I'm curious to know.
How come there isn't an actual DS game case for Guitar Hero On Tour?
I mean every other DS game has it's own case,
But after seeing several videos when unpacking Guitar Hero On Tour, is just the box, guitar grip, and game card, other than the instruction book, guitar pick stylus, and stickers.
I'd seriously want just a regular DS game case, to go along with my other DS game cases and sit with them on my shelf...
But has anyone already just made do with using the box for a place to hold the Guitar Grip when not using it or laying the game?
I mean, Guitar Hero On Tour is one of my most wanted games... meaning I don't have it... but I don't see why they didn't just put the game in a regular DS case other than the stupid clear plactic game card sleve? Perhaps I'll just use the bos as a placement for the Grip anyway... it just makes me sad!

Where to buy a good DS (Lite) case?
I have a DS Lite. and I want know if anyone has seen a case similar to this: bottom of the case (or somewhere on the case) has a pouch (or something like that) that the DS Lite goes into and fits just perfectly. Then at the top of the case it has a pouch thats big enough to fit atleast a Guitar Hero Grip, a few stylus, and some game cartridges. It's fairly straightforward but be warned it takes a lot of time and attention. I'm having difficulty getting the power and volume pieces back in but the quality is great. also, i'll note that now my top lcd has a green veritcal line b/c i was careless with the cable during installation. it is definately a bit risky but it is cheaper than a new system and the ds is easier to use than before.Has anyone installed a shock! ds lite replacement case and how good is the quality?

seems like a loose connection. The part where your DS folds, like where the top piece and bottom connect together, has a set of wires running through it. If it is squashed or clamped down for any reason, it will flicker. ( theres a charge going through, otherwise it wouldn't even turn on or do anything at all )

I know it's not the black one you were looking for but I have a green Phantom Hourglass soft carrier that my husband bought for me in a kit. It came with screen protectors, skins, extra styluses, headphones, a car charger and the case. It was all in a cute little Zelda lunchbox. He bought it at Walmart and paid around 30 bucks for it. I know it's not the black one you were looking for but I have a green Phantom Hourglass soft carrier that my husband bought for me in a kit. It came with screen protectors, skins, extra styluses, headphones, a car charger and the case. It was all in a cute little Zelda lunchbox. He bought it at Walmart and paid around 30 bucks for it. My daughters got a DS and has broken the hinge. I've bought a new shell and one of those tri wing screwdrivers (waiting for them to arrive) but can anyone tell me is it hard to change it over?

you can buy little mini cases for them. There is a starter pack with extra styluses in it and you also get these cases.
Check anywhere that sells a ds and they will sell this pack too.
The whole pack costs about 拢25 but if you find that you may well find the cases by themselves anyway.

it is more than likely that you may have dislodged the touchscreen when you put the bottom part of the case back on. DO NOT force the shell into the DS chipset. This easily leads to damage of the wifi chipset and the volume (most vulnerable). However the touchscreen can also be affected. Open back up the bottom part of the DS and assure that it is connected properly. If you see broken wires. Wii compatibility is totally dependent on the hardware itself, you cannot patch your games or use other firmware to make it compatible. If you want to use features that require the DS to connect to the wii you either need a better flashcart like a cyclods or the real game.

I would say the DS itself, if it really is like new, would be worth about £60-80. If by “pens” you mean the styli( plural of stylus), then I strongly recommend you replace them yourself before selling. That will make it MUCH more attractive to prospective buyers, chewed things are kind of icky. As for the games, it depends on what they are. For good games, yeah, you might get up to £90 or more for everything.
