Will a case/faceplate for a Nintendo DS Lite, fit a Nintendo DS?

The Package just said DS. The online store title just said DS. Now i see in the expaned description ';DS Lite';. Its a starter kit, are they compatable or do I need to exchange it?Will a case/faceplate for a Nintendo DS Lite, fit a Nintendo DS?
the case might fit but they are shaped different so a faceplate, unless its stick on, prob wont fit. the lite is more rectangular in angles, the original has rounded edgesWill a case/faceplate for a Nintendo DS Lite, fit a Nintendo DS?
