Need to replace the nintendo ds shell/case?

Hi everyone,


My daughters got a DS and has broken the hinge. I've bought a new shell and one of those tri wing screwdrivers (waiting for them to arrive) but can anyone tell me is it hard to change it over?

i wouldnt mess with it. there is a ribbon cable that if you break the screen wont work. And if you touch the back of the top or bottom screen the backlights wont work. if you bought it then go to a pro.Need to replace the nintendo ds shell/case?
Don't do it yourself if you don't know what you're doing. When we bought ours we got extra cover insurance for it. If you can't have that one repaired and you have to buy a new one it might be a good idea to invest in the extra cover yourself in case something goes kaput again.
i wouldnt mess with it ! ! ! ! you could mess up your game go to somewhere that sells stuff like that buy a hard shell and let them do it ! ! ! !
