It adds a little thickness (maybe a millimeter max), and I'm not sure if there's enough room between the Slot 2 cartridge connector and the rest of the controller. sorry to break it to you but the controller is designed for use without a case. It is doubtful it would work with it on

ok, my daughter had to get hers repaired last month as she fell on her ds and the cover cracked into two peices and the whole top casing had to b changed, nintendo charged us $55





now ive sent in my nephews,, the whole touch screen is stuffed cos he pressed way too hard and the touch screen aint working properly,, like if tou draw a line, it comes out all wonky, lol

well the touch screen is probably a LCD which means Liquid Crystal Display....and if the liquid for the pixel has been damaged it is basically irrepairable, you will have to get the complete LCD changed.....you would probably be better off by buying a new DS lite than getting the LCD repaired....another thing if it is very expensive and if it happens again after repairs you must make sure that Nintendo gives you a warranty on it....What costs more?, to repair a ds lite toch screen or a cracked case?
i would have to say that the replacing the touch screen would be a lot more then replacing the case.....you can always call the place the replaced the case and ask them what it would cost....if you do let us know how much it would cost to replace the screen...

What part of the story are you at? Did you check all of the evidence you have collected? Check on finger prints etc? That was the one thing that held me up was not checking the evidence completely. They also have walk through on line.

I have a black DS Lite and a similar case.

Double click one of the springs, then bring up the same menu then drag and drop the other spring (make sure it's not the same one) on to the picture of the other spring. Then the screen should black out then there you go the spring is put together.

How to remove the Plastic Casing around the DS Lite?

You know that clear stuff on the DS Lite? (A friend calls it Acrylic but that only reminds me of the paint) Well yeah I need to remove it so I can draw on the inside casing and then return the Plastic thingy back on top so my DS Lite basically gets pimped. Help would be appreciated but do not suggest that Mad Catz case covering or anything like that, I want my DS Lite to look exactly the same, but just more sexy. Also dont suggest Case modding that stuff is just scary.

Dont order it online go to walmart we didnt pay much for it.($12.00) That is where we bought ours. If you arent careful it will crack at the hinges. ask me i know. we are on our second set (2) of them. Yes, it should help stabilize it. JUST BE CAREFUL!!!
the nerf case is more for protection from that happening. it can hold it together but the ds can come out rather easily.


i recommend getting a crystal hard case because it has it's on hinges it relies on, not the ds's.

Stop looking, and 4 weeks later you will find it in the most unexpected of places. Like under a pile of empty beer cans in a book shelf, or in an old hand bag you haven't used in weeks.


Always happens to me this way.

i looked everywhere for weeks so then we guessed it must of got nicked.





but try looking in the places you most use it.
Just stop and think for a few minutes, if there are places you usually sit or go to, then its likely it would be in one of those areas, or possibly you or someone picked it up and put it somewhere while cleaning?
Look in the last place you saw it.





Have you taken it out doors with you if so it might of been nicked.





Try looking in the bin it might of fallen in.

If you want a DSi compatible card the R4 SDHC won't work. The R4i SDHC works okay, but I love my Acekard 2i. It's easy to use and really really stable. I got my order from http://www.dscardworld.com





I managed to find this site after I got burned at a few others. All their DSi compatible cards are clearly labeled. Loved having my emails responded to because I had loads of questions, and they were quick to ship it. US based support and shipping I believe.

I would go for the regular altoids can. It's long enough to fit two games side by side and deep enough to fit possibly three games stacked up. was just thinking about it but I haven't tried it myself. Plus your games will smell like cinnamon for an added bonus!

I just bought a DS Lite GameTraveler case at BestBuy. I have a trip coming up next week and I need to have a way to protect my new DSi when I am traveling. I just bought a silicon case two days ago, it's a wee bit different from what is shown here. Cause this silicon case does not totally encase the DS' top screen, mine does. But, it's not totally form fitting. It comes as a whole case, this here in the pic, I think comes in two parts. One for the top, the other for the bottom. Mine crunches up behind when the DS is open. But if this here in the pic is what you plan to get or have, I don't think there will be any crunching up to be bothered about as I think it doesn't cover the hinge part.

Well... you CAN change the case on a DS, but there's a little more too it than just unscrewing it and slapping on a new one. There are actually quite a few parts that are connected directly to the case. You also need a special screwdriver to get the screws out to begin with because they don't have a standard head.





Gamestop won't do it for you. They won't take on that kind of liability. Personally, I think I'd just invest in some masking tape and a $3 can of spray paint.

the dsi is wider than the ds lite. It might fit but its at risk of scraping the corners.

I don't have a case. But I also don't throw my DS around in a backpack with other stuff.





Furthermore, due to the clamshell design, the screens are protected with the DS folded close. So basically, you only need a case, if you throw your DS around a lot.

Yes it will work fine. There is no region lockout on the DS. So you can play US or European games with no modifications. All you need is a UK charger.

It depends if you travel a lot. If you think you need something to keep you ';unbored'; somewhere away from home, get the DS, plus you'll have extra money for music to take with you too. If you think you'll do most of your gaming at home, get the wii.


Also, if your sister is younger than you, actually, no matter what age, the wii will be more enjoyable. It's more ';party-type'; and Wii sports is fun to play with another person. But keep in mind you would need to pay extra for the extra Wii controller.





You can't really play with another person you know on the ds unless they have one. Both systems have wifi enabled for free online multiplayer, though there aren't many for the wii.





The Wii also has the ';Virtual Console';, where you can download classic nes and old-skool games for a small price each.

it depends on if ur gonna do alot of traveling or not, pick the DS if u travel alot so when ur in a car, plane, bus, or truck, ull have some intertainment, and if ur at home most of the time (not counting school and/or job) then maybe u want a Wii, they r both pretty good, i have a DS because i travel alot and a friend of mine has a Wii cause he doesnt travel very much, i hope that answers ur question

If your english i'ld suggest the 4-gamers case, its made i think out of very stiff cardboard and mine has been amazing. It has space for me to store in 6 game cartrages as well as my ds lite, its a good sturdy case and from my several months of wear and tear its not been damaged. Both Game and HMV stock 4gamers items so like i said if your english then check them out ^.^
There are plenty of different cases. I prefer the all metal ones, because it provides the most protection. Also, you can get these at game stop or EB games, even wal- mart may have these.

the carry case is hard material on the outside, and soft on the inside. over here you have to buy it seperatley unless it comes with a deal at the store your buying it from.

I doubt it. I've seen a guy listing a DS Lite with 20 games on Craigslist for a few months now for 200 and hasn't had any takers. With the DSi just around the corner, and the fact that someone could probably buy a DS and 7 games NEW for 250... good luck. You'll probably be lucky to get 150 for it. 125, maybe. Yeah, it's the price of a DS new, but regardless of the games, yours is used. Might depend on the games, too. I agree with Sing above, part it out if you're going to do it on Craigslist... the guy that I mentioned has only managed to sell a few of his 20 games at around 10-15 each.

You should use whatever you have to protect your shiny new DS lol. Remember though, no matter how careful you are, that things gonna get scratched up. Still though, you should protect it until then.

They're extremily annoying when you have to open it and I hate the piece of plastic that covers the top part of the touch screen. What's even worse, is that it makes your DS very FAT! You cant stuff it in your pocket, it's hard to insert and remove your stylus and games. It makes your DS experience very cumbersome.

Why no DS case for Guitar Hero On Tour?

What I'm trying to ask is a simple question, and I don't know why, because I'm curious to know.





How come there isn't an actual DS game case for Guitar Hero On Tour?





I mean every other DS game has it's own case,





But after seeing several videos when unpacking Guitar Hero On Tour, is just the box, guitar grip, and game card, other than the instruction book, guitar pick stylus, and stickers.





I'd seriously want just a regular DS game case, to go along with my other DS game cases and sit with them on my shelf...





But has anyone already just made do with using the box for a place to hold the Guitar Grip when not using it or laying the game?





I mean, Guitar Hero On Tour is one of my most wanted games... meaning I don't have it... but I don't see why they didn't just put the game in a regular DS case other than the stupid clear plactic game card sleve? Perhaps I'll just use the bos as a placement for the Grip anyway... it just makes me sad!

In America when you oruchase the DS Lite console, the charger is a lot more compact than the one here in Australia, and when I got my DS Lite with the bulky charger, I wasn't pleased with Nintendo at all.





Some games like this (and also games for the Wii) do not come with the game case when it's with another bulk item (like Guitar Hero III and Dance Dance Revolution) and I don't think that Guitar Hero: On Tour comes with a game case because it would make the box bulge out to much, so they didn't include it.





DS users these days have a carrying case anyway, with a plave to hold the gams, so don't stress out too much. But then again, it would tick me off. Just ask Nintendo to send you a case (with or without the GH cover).Why no DS case for Guitar Hero On Tour?
it is just a box so i dont realy care i mean you get the game because of the game not the box! i mean o well if we have a bulky charger I have an oringial nintendo ds and i have no complaints about it and if tou dont want to lose the game make your own box with card board and duct tape ( which i did fo a while) or just keep it in the slots at all times and if you want to play another game just place GH in the same place everytime

well its saposed to be portable in every Way so the no game case is essential. i was a bit worried at first when it didnt have a case but the box works fine and imagine how stupid it would be to sell a game and a box thats just more waste D: when you cant play the game without the grip.

Why no DS case for Guitar Hero On Tour?

What I'm trying to ask is a simple question, and I don't know why, because I'm curious to know.





How come there isn't an actual DS game case for Guitar Hero On Tour?





I mean every other DS game has it's own case,





But after seeing several videos when unpacking Guitar Hero On Tour, is just the box, guitar grip, and game card, other than the instruction book, guitar pick stylus, and stickers.





I'd seriously want just a regular DS game case, to go along with my other DS game cases and sit with them on my shelf...





But has anyone already just made do with using the box for a place to hold the Guitar Grip when not using it or laying the game?





I mean, Guitar Hero On Tour is one of my most wanted games... meaning I don't have it... but I don't see why they didn't just put the game in a regular DS case other than the stupid clear plactic game card sleve? Perhaps I'll just use the bos as a placement for the Grip anyway... it just makes me sad!

It's different in every country.





In America when you oruchase the DS Lite console, the charger is a lot more compact than the one here in Australia, and when I got my DS Lite with the bulky charger, I wasn't pleased with Nintendo at all.





Some games like this (and also games for the Wii) do not come with the game case when it's with another bulk item (like Guitar Hero III and Dance Dance Revolution) and I don't think that Guitar Hero: On Tour comes with a game case because it would make the box bulge out to much, so they didn't include it.





DS users these days have a carrying case anyway, with a plave to hold the gams, so don't stress out too much. But then again, it would tick me off. Just ask Nintendo to send you a case (with or without the GH cover).Why no DS case for Guitar Hero On Tour?
it is just a box so i dont realy care i mean you get the game because of the game not the box! i mean o well if we have a bulky charger I have an oringial nintendo ds and i have no complaints about it and if tou dont want to lose the game make your own box with card board and duct tape ( which i did fo a while) or just keep it in the slots at all times and if you want to play another game just place GH in the same place everytime


this is really a minor issue
well its saposed to be portable in every Way so the no game case is essential. i was a bit worried at first when it didnt have a case but the box works fine and imagine how stupid it would be to sell a game and a box thats just more waste D: when you cant play the game without the grip.

I just bought a used copy of Tetris DS, and I noticed that many sellers say they have the box with instructions. But then I see sellers saying they have the ';case'; with instructions. Is the game case same as a game box? I am just paranoid I am getting some plastic game holder in stead of the original game case.Is a DS game ';box'; the same as the ';case';?

I have a DS Lite. and I want know if anyone has seen a case similar to this: bottom of the case (or somewhere on the case) has a pouch (or something like that) that the DS Lite goes into and fits just perfectly. Then at the top of the case it has a pouch thats big enough to fit atleast a Guitar Hero Grip, a few stylus, and some game cartridges. i have it and love it. it has a spot for the ds, 2 charger (or anything around that size), it can hold 18 ds games which have individual pouches, 6 game boy advance games. and a small pocket in front that can hold other accesories. there are more in depth reviews on the website. if you are worried about the color you get, do not buy it online because they ship the color randomly.

The only way to know for sure is to call a store and ask them. Save the 5 points you used to ask this question and ask a professional for advice.
The DS Lite trades in for about 拢65 at Game in the UK. In my opinion, your games would come to around 拢30, 拢35 pounds. You'd have to sell the case on e-Bay.


I don't recommend selling on e-Bay, though, because you have to drop the price significantly to get people to bid/buy. So you'd be better off trading it in at Game. If it's not in good condition, they won't accept it, so make sure you clean it up before you take it in.
