I replaced the Shell for my sons DS lite and now the tocuhscreen does not work. All other features/ components seem to work fine. Any advise on what the problem could be? Easy fix or replaceReplaced Nintendo DS lite shell casing due to cracked hinge and now touch screen does not work. Help?
it is more than likely that you may have dislodged the touchscreen when you put the bottom part of the case back on. DO NOT force the shell into the DS chipset. This easily leads to damage of the wifi chipset and the volume (most vulnerable). However the touchscreen can also be affected. Open back up the bottom part of the DS and assure that it is connected properly. If you see broken wires. Don't fret though as you should be able to find a replacement touch screen for around $12 if you need it.Replaced Nintendo DS lite shell casing due to cracked hinge and now touch screen does not work.
