I need something with decent protection for a nintendo ds lite. It is for an eight year old and just in case he drops it...Is the aluminum case with silicone lining or the plastic case with silicone lining better protection for ds?

Yes there r because the regular 1's r ez 2 get scratched and if u drop the alluminum 1 u have less chance of breaking it...,
