ok, my daughter had to get hers repaired last month as she fell on her ds and the cover cracked into two peices and the whole top casing had to b changed, nintendo charged us $55
now ive sent in my nephews,, the whole touch screen is stuffed cos he pressed way too hard and the touch screen aint working properly,, like if tou draw a line, it comes out all wonky, lol
do u think to repair the screen [change it, ] will it cost more than the casing repair of $55

well the touch screen is probably a LCD which means Liquid Crystal Display....and if the liquid for the pixel has been damaged it is basically irrepairable, you will have to get the complete LCD changed.....you would probably be better off by buying a new DS lite than getting the LCD repaired....another thing if it is very expensive and if it happens again after repairs you must make sure that Nintendo gives you a warranty on it....What costs more?, to repair a ds lite toch screen or a cracked case?
i would have to say that the replacing the touch screen would be a lot more then replacing the case.....you can always call the place the replaced the case and ask them what it would cost....if you do let us know how much it would cost to replace the screen...

In csi dark motives ds. how do you get a warrant for cory in case one?
What part of the story are you at? Did you check all of the evidence you have collected? Check on finger prints etc? That was the one thing that held me up was not checking the evidence completely. They also have walk through on line.

How do we find the CD case in the Nintendo DS Hannah Montana game?
My daughter is playing this and can't find the CD case. We know we're supposed to use the magno-glass, but from what I can tell it doesn't do anything other than look at what you can already see without it, so we must be doing something wrong with it... And from other Yahoo Answers I see we're supposed to find Oliver first, but he isn't at school in the AV room or on the bench near the school doors, OR in the mall at the back of the music store--in fact we can't find him anywhere. Double click one of the springs, then bring up the same menu then drag and drop the other spring (make sure it's not the same one) on to the picture of the other spring. Then the screen should black out then there you go the spring is put together.

How to remove the Plastic Casing around the DS Lite?
You know that clear stuff on the DS Lite? (A friend calls it Acrylic but that only reminds me of the paint) Well yeah I need to remove it so I can draw on the inside casing and then return the Plastic thingy back on top so my DS Lite basically gets pimped. Help would be appreciated but do not suggest that Mad Catz case covering or anything like that, I want my DS Lite to look exactly the same, but just more sexy. Also dont suggest Case modding that stuff is just scary.

What's a cheap or free alternative for a DS game cartridge case?
I read in a Game Informer once that you can use altoids sour tins to hold PSP games, so I was wondering if anyone has come up with anything for DS games, like maybe a tic tac box or something. I'm probably being cheap, but why should I have to buy a whole pack of useless stuff I don't need just so I can get a few game cases. I also know that some of the carrying cases for the DS have game slots, but the one I'm looking at only has the mesh stuff on the side. Or would that suffice to protect them? Any ideas? I would go for the regular altoids can. It's long enough to fit two games side by side and deep enough to fit possibly three games stacked up. was just thinking about it but I haven't tried it myself. Plus your games will smell like cinnamon for an added bonus!popping blackheads

First of all if you read the Pakatan media you probably think that the world is now looking down on Malaysia because we put a “murderer” in the highest office. To be honest with you no one really cared about the Altantuya case except maybe a few Mongolians. It’s a sad thing when a death of a human being is largely ignored. Just look at the recent press conference between Anifah Aman and Hillary Clinton. The reporters didn’t even ask a question regarding Altantuya.Anifah just melatah abit resulting in him blurting the Altantuya name. I just bought a DS Lite GameTraveler case at BestBuy. I have a trip coming up next week and I need to have a way to protect my new DSi when I am traveling. But looking at the case (it is the silver, zippered one with the two-screen logo on the front), I'm not sure that my DSi will fit in it. I don't wanna open the package if it's not gonna fit, because if I return it to the store unopened, I should get a full refund. I am in need of a new game case. I have 2 of the 6 game holders, but one broke, and the one I have is filled. 4 ACWW games + 1 cooking mama + super mario bros + 1 game i'm gonna buy off ebay + 2 I'm gonna ask for at gamestop for part of my B-day gift = case to full.

When filling out an on-line Visa form (DS 157) do I print the letters or use normal small case?
I would print the letters in upper case. They won't really be mistaken for other letters.

Well... you CAN change the case on a DS, but there's a little more too it than just unscrewing it and slapping on a new one. There are actually quite a few parts that are connected directly to the case. You also need a special screwdriver to get the screws out to begin with because they don't have a standard head.
Gamestop won't do it for you. They won't take on that kind of liability. Personally, I think I'd just invest in some masking tape and a $3 can of spray paint.

How do i change the hard case on a nintendo ds lite?

My friend has used a video on YouTube to change his, but I don't know which one. Check out a few and see which one has a good enough resolution.
The videos are great as you can pause them while you are doing it along with the video.How do i change the hard case on a nintendo ds lite?
