Will a DSi fit into a regular DS Lite case without slipping out of the elastic strap to keep it in place?

I want the new DS Lite case, but I'm getting a DSi, would it fit without slipping out or getting damaged?

I think it just has 3 slots for games and a spot for the DS.Will a DSi fit into a regular DS Lite case without slipping out of the elastic strap to keep it in place?

if it is a zip up but i dont think it will fit in the spot for the ds as it is wider. i am planning on getting one on april 5th. you may want to just wait as not to many people know.
