Should i buy the nerf nintendo ds lite case or the nintendo first party robo armor?

there are 2 different ds cases ive had my eye on for a while. one is ';collectible'; robo foam ds armor. its got several different options for pictures (mario and luigi, dk and diddy, etc.) theres also a nerf brand ds case.

the nerf one is 15 dollars and the nintendo one is 12.

if anyone has either or both of these, how did you like them?

thanks!Should i buy the nerf nintendo ds lite case or the nintendo first party robo armor?
You can read on for my full opinion or just view the summary paragraph at the end.

Neither of the cases are first party items. Robo Armor and Nerf Armor are both made by Electro Source / Pelican.

However, both cases are officially licensed by Nintendo, as indicated on the PDP website: http://www.pdp.com/prod_by_brand.php?platform=DS%20LITE

The Nerf Armor should be around $12. The Nerf Case XL (which holds the system, charger, stylus and 12 games) retails for around $15.

I have friends that use both types of cases. The Nerf Armor certainly adds comfort to the DS Lite and appears capable of absorbing a lot of shock. Since I have Nerf wireless controllers for my PS2, I trust the feel and durability of the material when used as a gaming accessory.

The Robo Armor is an inferior product in my opinion. It is less comfortable to hold and seems less capable of protecting the system. I feel that the licensed characters are only printed on the Robo Armor to draw in cautious parents of younger children who have the DS Lite.

If you want a full system case, Nerf Case XL. If you want a comfortable gaming case, Nerf Armor (just don't get ripped off paying $15 for it). If you want a cute looking case, Robo Armor.Should i buy the nerf nintendo ds lite case or the nintendo first party robo armor?
Jack L do you know where i can find one of the XL cases?

It's probably better to get the first party one. 1. cause it's collectible 2. it's first party so it's the best 3. its cheaper
nintendo first party robo armor, because it is much better. and it look way more kooler.

hoped i helped! ;P
the nerf rocks and actually protects your DS. The armor does nothing to absorb impact if dropped.
