My son recently had 10 DS games stolen from his DS case on the underground! Is there a way of backing them up?

I now that there are R4 storage devices but how do you get the games from the game cartridge to the storage device? My son recently had 10 DS games stolen from his DS case on the underground! Is there a way of backing them up?
As well as the R4 you need a microSD card. When you've got these download the latest R4 software from the website on the box. Unzip it (if it's a .rar file download winRAR to do so) and put it on the SD card. Then Create a folder called GAMES or ROMS (it doesn't matter what you call it it's just so you can easily find the games). Then download the game rom from wherever you want (search DS Roms in google). Unzip these you will need winRAR for this because they are usually .rar files. Then put all unzipped files (should be just the game but sometimes there's more files) in the folder you created. Put the microSD card in the DS cart that came with the R4 (you should have got this and a microSD adapter) and plug into DS. Start the DS and get past the safety screen and it should start. Then go to the game and click A to open and when it asks to create a save file click yes. Then have fun playing the games. My son recently had 10 DS games stolen from his DS case on the underground! Is there a way of backing them up?
