What's a cheap or free alternative for a DS game cartridge case?

I read in a Game Informer once that you can use altoids sour tins to hold PSP games, so I was wondering if anyone has come up with anything for DS games, like maybe a tic tac box or something. I'm probably being cheap, but why should I have to buy a whole pack of useless stuff I don't need just so I can get a few game cases. I also know that some of the carrying cases for the DS have game slots, but the one I'm looking at only has the mesh stuff on the side. Or would that suffice to protect them? Any ideas? I bought these for my kids for Christmas. There's a pink, black and clear versions. Maybe you can get them at Wal-Mart.

I would go for the regular altoids can. It's long enough to fit two games side by side and deep enough to fit possibly three games stacked up. was just thinking about it but I haven't tried it myself. Plus your games will smell like cinnamon for an added bonus!
