What costs more?, to repair a ds lite toch screen or a cracked case?

ok, my daughter had to get hers repaired last month as she fell on her ds and the cover cracked into two peices and the whole top casing had to b changed, nintendo charged us $55





now ive sent in my nephews,, the whole touch screen is stuffed cos he pressed way too hard and the touch screen aint working properly,, like if tou draw a line, it comes out all wonky, lol





do u think to repair the screen [change it, ] will it cost more than the casing repair of $55

well the touch screen is probably a LCD which means Liquid Crystal Display....and if the liquid for the pixel has been damaged it is basically irrepairable, you will have to get the complete LCD changed.....you would probably be better off by buying a new DS lite than getting the LCD repaired....another thing if it is very expensive and if it happens again after repairs you must make sure that Nintendo gives you a warranty on it....What costs more?, to repair a ds lite toch screen or a cracked case?
i would have to say that the replacing the touch screen would be a lot more then replacing the case.....you can always call the place the replaced the case and ask them what it would cost....if you do let us know how much it would cost to replace the screen...
That sounded like a major damage to me. I'll get a new one instead. There are also more color selection out there now, so it's good time to pick up that pink DS you always wanted.. lol
